Desi Cow Ghee, in other words, 'ghee from the country side', is derived from a particular type of cow from the villages and farms of India, often called the Gir cow; ghee made solely from the milk of desi cows is termed as A2 cow ghee, made from A2 cow milk. 

A2 ghee has more protein, iron, sodium, calcium, vitamin A, D+, E, K & Omega 3 & 9 fatty acids as compared to other locally available ghee.
