Our Ginger is grown in the highlands of Tanzania, East Africa and at an organic permaculture farm that is Rainforest Alliance Certified in Tanzania, East Africa. Once the roots are harvested, they are cleaned with purified water. We purify our water through a reverse osmosis (RO) process that removes all contaminants and flushes all unwanted molecules away. Once the ginger is cleaned. We ensure the ginger is processed at ultra-low temperatures within 18 hours of harvest ensuring optimal nutrient retention. As the drying process completes, these leaves are taken to grind down to a floury consistency to make Dhow's Ginger Powder!
And that's it, our process is that simple! We add no fillers, additives, bulking agents or any sorts of nasties in our products, just pure goodness!
