The moringa tree, often called the miracle tree or the drumstick tree, is an extraordinary natural creation that is native to Africa and Asia. It has long been used and treated as one of the most appreciated greens of our time because of it's many health benefits & medicinal properties.
It is almost like a whole meal in one! Every part of the moringa tree is edible. The leaves can be eaten just as we eat spinach, the seed pods are called drumsticks often used in Indian cooking, similar to green beans, and the roots are just like horseradish!

CURIOUS ABOUT HOW IT'S MADE?
We grow our Moringa in an organic permaculture farm that is Rainforest Alliance Certified in Tanzania, East Africa. Once the leaves are harvested, they are cleaned with purified water. We purify our water through a reverse osmosis (RO) process that removes all contaminants and flushes all unwanted molecules away. Once the moringa is cleaned, we dry it within 18 hours at a constant temperature, which allows optimal nutrient retention. As the drying process completes, these leaves are taken to grind down to a floury consistency to make Dhow's Moringa Powder!
And that's it, our process is that simple! We add no fillers, additives, bulking agents or any sorts of nasties in our products, just pure goodness!
